Global Volunteers
Samantha Dick, an accountant at Global Volunteers, began their journey in the financial services industry as a bank teller at U.S. Bank. Samantha later worked as a corporate accounting intern at the same institution and as a staff member at US Bancorp. Samantha's passion for helping others led their to serve as a missionary in Costa Rica, where Samantha volunteered at a local orphanage and found a calling to better the lives of orphaned children. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Bethel University.
Global Volunteers
Global Volunteers is a private, non-profit, non-sectarian, non-governmental organization engaging short-term volunteers on micro-economic and human development programs in close partnership with local people worldwide. Working at the invitation and under the direction of local leaders, volunteers help create a foundation for world peace through mutual international understanding. Since 1984, Global Volunteers has engaged over 35,000 volunteers around the world on a variety of projects, including teaching, childcare, medical, community development, and construction and renovation. Volunteers can choose to volunteer from one to three weeks in the following locations: China, the Cook Islands, Cuba, Ecuador, Greece, Italy, Nepal, Peru, Poland, Portugal, St. Lucia, Tanzania, USA, and Vietnam.
