Matt Jensen

Matthew Jensen, CWT has over 15 years of experience in the water treatment industry. Matthew is currently the Vice President, Great Lakes Region at Global Water Technology, Inc, where they lead and develops a team of professionals. In this role, they manage client relationships, achieves sales goals, and maintains excellent service. Prior to this, Matthew served as the Vice President of Technology and Innovation at Global Water Technology, Inc, where they focused on identifying and implementing innovative water treatment technologies.

Matthew also has a strong background in association management. Matthew has held various leadership positions at the Association of Water Technologies, including President, Immediate Past President, and Board Member.

Before their time at Global Water Technology, Inc and the Association of Water Technologies, Matthew worked at Watertech of America, Inc as the Director of Applied Technologies and Territory Manager. In these roles, they provided technical training, developed successful sales methods, and achieved significant sales growth for the company.

Matthew began their career as a Territory Manager at Garratt-Callahan Company and Technical Sales Representative at Brenntag, specializing in the sale of specialty chemicals in various markets.

Matthew Jensen, CWT, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and History, which they obtained from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in the years 1998-2003. Matthew has also obtained additional certifications, including Certified Water Technologist (CWT) from the Association of Water Technologies in 2009 and 3rd Class Boiler Operator from the American Society of Power Engineers in 2006. Recently, they obtained ASSE 12080 certification from ASSE International in 2022.
