Jakob Bjørn Nielsen

Jakob Bjørn Nielsen has held various leadership roles in training and operations within the wind energy industry. With experience at Global Wind Organisation, MHI Vestas Offshore Wind, and Siemens Gamesa, Jakob is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Global Wind Organisation. Prior to his career in the wind industry, Jakob served in the Royal Danish Army from 1997 to 2010, rising to the rank of Sergeant. He holds degrees in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Military Science, and Social Studies from Aarhus University, Royal Danish Defence College, and Aalborg University, respectively.
