Leonardo Merchán Zorro

Leonardo Merchán Zorro started their work experience in 2017 as an Ingeniero de sistemas at G4S. Leonardo then joined Ecoingea Cubo SAS in 2018 as an Ingeniero de sistemas / Director de Innovación. In 2020, they worked as a Profesional de investigación y desarrollo at Universidad de los Andes - Colombia. Currently, Leonardo holds the position of Head of Analytics and Innovation at Global Wine & Spirits since 2023.

Leonardo Merchán Zorro has a strong educational background in the field of engineering and information technology. Leonardo obtained their Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad El Bosque, where they studied from 2012 to 2018. After completing their undergraduate studies, Leonardo pursued a Master's degree in Software Engineering at Universidad de los Andes from 2018 to 2020. Leonardo furthered their education by pursuing another Master's degree in Information Engineering at the same university from 2021 to 2022.

In addition to their academic achievements, Leonardo has also obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Leonardo obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in October 2022. Prior to this, they completed several online courses, including "Introduction to the Internet of Things and Embedded Systems," "Programa Especializado - Python for Everybody," "R Programming," and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera. These certifications and online courses demonstrate Leonardo's commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in their field.
