Alexandria Reid

Alexandria Reid serves as the Senior Global Policy Adviser for Deforestation, Climate and Sustainable Finance at Global Witness, focusing on sustainable finance policy and regulatory reform to combat deforestation and human rights abuses in vital forest areas since May 2022. Previously, Alexandria was a Senior Research Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute, leading a research program on environmental crime and managed a portfolio valued at over £750k. Alexandria has also held various research and administrative roles across institutions including the Strategic Hub for Organised Crime Research, King's Centre for Military Health Research, and Centre for Grand Strategy at King's College London, where expertise in military health research and strategic studies was developed. Alexandria holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree from King's College London.
