Ioana Barbu

Ioana Barbu is a Senior Post Production Engineer and Vision Mixer at Global, with experience leading production engineering and supporting video, post-production, and audio production teams since July 2019. Ioana specializes in systems support and development, managing various platforms including Pro Tools, Adobe Premiere, and others, while also negotiating contracts and building relationships with suppliers. Previous roles include freelance Mastering Engineer and Recording/Mix Engineer, and positions at Global Radio and Bauer Media, where Ioana contributed significantly to broadcast infrastructure and outside broadcasts. Ioana holds a First Class Honours degree in Audio Recording Technology from De Montfort University and has extensive experience in the broadcast industry.
