Tirion Davies

Tirion Davies is a broadcast journalist currently working at Global since June 2022, responsible for planning news content, conducting interviews, editing clips, and writing copy, while also serving as an on-air newsreader for bilingual bulletins on Heart, Capital, and Smooth in Wales. Prior experience includes a trainee broadcast journalist role at CJS News, where Tirion graduated with a Postgraduate MA in Broadcast Journalism, alongside a BCTJ training qualification. Additional work placements were completed at S4C, ITV, and BBC News, contributing to the production of digital news content and research for news programs. Tirion also served as the Editor in Chief of Gair Rhydd, Cardiff University's student newspaper, and previously worked as a food server and blogger. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Welsh and Journalism, followed by a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Cardiff University.
