Gaia Freydefont is a reporter at GlobalCapital, covering people & market news for the debt and equity capital markets across the EMEA region. Prior to this, Gaia participated in a Summer Vacation Scheme at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, focusing on Structured Transactions and Corporate Litigation. Additionally, Gaia was the 2nd place winner at the Tezos X EasyA Hackathon with their platform "The Trust Project", which aims to bring transparency to charitable donations through the Tezos blockchain. Gaia obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from UCL and completed their International Baccalaureate at UWC South East Asia.
