Uffe Tomasson

Uffe Tomasson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Uffe currently holds the position of Group Chief Technology & Operations Officer (CTOO) and Senior Vice President at GlobalConnect since October 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Group Chief Operating Officer & Senior Vice President at the same company from April 2023 to October 2023. Previously, they worked at Deutsche Glasfaser Unternehmensgruppe as the Chief Network Officer & Executive Vice President, responsible for leading and developing the Deutsche Glasfaser Fibre Network. Before that, they had various roles at TDC NET, including Vice President of Service Delivery and Vice President of Network Design. Uffe also held the position of Vice President of Infrastructure at TDC. Earlier in their career, Uffe worked at Nokia in multiple roles, such as Head of Care Sales Programs, Head of Services Sales Development, and Head of Delivery in Nordic & Baltic. Uffe also served in the United Nations Peace Keeping Force and the Danish Military.

Uffe Tomasson earned their MSc in Electrical Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they studied from 1991 to 1997. In 1996, they also briefly studied Satellite Communication at Queen's University. Before that, Uffe Tomasson completed their high school education at Stenløse Gymnasium from 1986 to 1989.
