Carlos Obeid is Mubadala’s Chief Financial Officer with oversight of the company’s commercial functions including Mergers & Acquisitions, Treasury & Investor Relations, Financial Planning & Business Performance and Financial Governance & Reporting.

Before joining Mubadala, Carlos worked with the UAE Offsets Programme Bureau where he led a wide range of initiatives including privatization, utilities and financial services.

Board positions include: Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mubadala Infrastructure Partners Ltd; Board member of Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), Waha Capital PJSC, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi LLC, Mubadala Petroleum LLC, GLOBALFOUNDRIES and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank PJSC.

Carlos has an M.B.A. degree from INSEAD in 1991 and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut in 1986.
