Elahe Yarmoghaddam

Elahe Yarmoghaddam is a Senior Device Engineer at GLOBALFOUNDRIES since September 2020. Previously, Yarmoghaddam served as a Research Assistant at New York University's Polytechnic School of Engineering from September 2016 to August 2020, focusing on TCAD device modeling and simulation of semiconductors and exploring light-matter interaction in graphene for THz wireless communication applications. Prior experience includes a role as a Teaching Assistant at Penn State University from August 2015 to May 2016 and a Research Assistant position at Sharif University of Technology from 2012 to 2014, where important work on photonic and plasmonic structures was conducted. Yarmoghaddam earned a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from New York University in 2020 and has Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in the same field from Sharif University of Technology.
