Geng Ni

Geng Ni is a Senior Integration Engineer at GlobalFoundries, overseeing the BEOL aspects of Fab8 45SPCLO technology and leading projects aimed at increasing yield by approximately 5%. With experience in new feature development and expertise in NPI Planning, Geng collaborates effectively across multiple engineering organizations to ensure timely delivery of quality hardware. Prior to this role, Geng served as a Research Scholar at SRC Research Scholars Program, focusing on electromigration failures in solder joints. Academic achievements include a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, complemented by research on superconductivity and corrosion mechanisms. Geng also gained experience as a Process Engineering Intern at Lam Research, contributing to equipment performance enhancements through the application of engineering methodologies.
