Jamie S. has a diverse work experience in the semiconductor industry. They started their career at NXP, where they worked as a Research Scientist conducting research on new materials, integrations, and processes for CMOS transistors. Their research was recognized with numerous invited talks and publications, and they received the Freescale Distinguished Innovator award. Later, Jamie joined GlobalFoundries and held several leadership roles, including Vice President of Product Management for Ultra Low Power and Feature-rich CMOS, Vice President of Business Management for Mobile and Wireless Infrastructure, and Sr. Director of Product Management. Jamie S. completed a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, which was completed between 1999 and 2004. In 2017, Jamie attended the USC Marshall School of Business for the Advanced Management Program, and in 2019, they attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for the Executive Program for Growing Companies.
