Jim Culp

Jim Culp is an experienced semiconductor industry professional currently serving as Director - DMTS at GLOBALFOUNDRIES since July 2015. In this role, Jim manages a diverse global team to develop robust design specifications for various semiconductor foundry nodes, focusing on enhancing efficiency and productivity through automation and Agile business processes. Prior to this, Jim spent 17 years at IBM, where roles included Senior Technical Staff Member and Engineer and Manager, contributing to the development and implementation of business processes for advanced semiconductor technology nodes and leading innovations with significant business impact. Jim's career began in the US Navy as a Reactor Operator from 1987 to 1993. Educationally, Jim holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, completing the degree in 1998.
