Ralf Illgen

Ralf Illgen is a skilled Technology & Integration Engineer at GLOBALFOUNDRIES since March 2010, with expertise in leading transistor development for the 28nm HKMG platform, specifically focusing on high-voltage technology and process improvements leading to mass production and yield stabilization. Prior to this role, Ralf served as a scientific assistant at Zentrum für angewandte Forschung und Technologie e.V. in Dresden from April 2006 to February 2010, conducting experimental research on novel MOS transistors and TCAD simulations of SOI-MOSFETs. Ralf holds a Dr.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Technische Universität Dresden and a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) in Communication Engineering from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Dresden, along with vocational training as an industrial electronics technician.
