Vaishnav Subramanian has a diverse work experience spanning several years. In 2017, they worked as a Junior Research Fellow at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, where they contributed to a project focused on developing a cogeneration unit utilizing solar energy. Their responsibilities included obtaining optimal process designs and designing and testing microchannel heat exchangers.
In 2019, Vaishnav worked at the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research as a Project Intern and then as a Summer Intern. During these positions, they conducted research on topics such as the electricity market analysis for RE100 companies in Taiwan and industrial symbiosis in the Linhai Industrial Park. They published a research paper and gained a better understanding of eco-industrial parks.
From 2019 to 2020, Vaishnav volunteered as an Events Coordinator for All Hands Taiwan, organizing various events.
From 2020 to 2022, Vaishnav was employed at Ever-Clear Environmental Eng. Corp. as an R&D Engineer. Their responsibilities involved designing pilot experiments, creating process flow diagrams, and generating project proposals for degradability tests and wastewater analysis.
Currently, Vaishnav Subramanian serves as the APAC Environmental Engineering Lead at GlobalFoundries, a role they started in 2022.
Vaishnav Subramanian has a strong education background in Chemical Engineering. In 2016, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Vaishnav further pursued their studies and completed their Master of Science (MS) in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University in 2020. Alongside their academic achievements, Vaishnav also holds certifications in Corporate Sustainability from Coursera in 2022 and a Practitioner Membership from IEMA, which they obtained in 2024.
