Orlando Acevedo

Orlando Acevedo is a highly experienced Solutions Architect currently overseeing projects at Globalgig since May 2023. Prior to this role, Acevedo served as a Senior Staff SASE Partner Architect at VMware SASE and Edge for a brief period in early 2023. From April 2019 to February 2023, Acevedo contributed to VMware as an SD-WAN and SASE Architect and previously held the position of Staff Support Engineer. Acevedo's career began at Sykes as a Cisco TAC Engineer, followed by a role as a Network Engineer at Sungard Availability Services. Educational qualifications include a CISSP certification from (ISC)2, a CCIE Security certification from Cisco Networking Academy, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidad de Costa Rica UCR.
