Istvan Kocsis

Istvan Kocsis is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in managing and developing technology operations across various sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of the IT Services Unit at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies since January 2017, Istvan is tasked with building a Global IT Services Centre in Hungary. Previously, Istvan held the position of Application Support and Development Manager for EMEA at Systemax, and prior to that, served as IT Development Director for MOL Magyarország, overseeing IT development across multiple countries and locations. Istvan's extensive experience includes roles at Shell, where contributions included establishing the Retail Site System Operations and leading the Global Retail IT Development. Academically, Istvan holds a Master’s degree in International Business from IMD and a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
