David Prendergast

David Prendergast has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. David is currently working as a Content Writer at Globalization Partners, a position they started in 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Content Creation Manager at Vanderbilt Industries from November 2016 to June 2022, where they managed the content editorial calendar and wrote news articles for publication and promotion. Before that, David worked as a Broadcast Journalist at WLR FM from June 2016 to November 2016, where they wrote, edited, and presented hourly bulletins, conducted live link reports, and sourced interviews for news broadcasts. David also worked at the House of Oireachtas as part of the Office of Minister Paudie Coffey, where they designed videos, infographics, and ads for social media and local newspapers and drafted statements. David's early career included a role as a Print Journalist at Dungarvan Leader & Southern Democrat from May 2011 to July 2015, where they reported on local sports, networked with organizations, and wrote and edited articles for publication.

David Prendergast completed their Bachelor's degree in English and History at the University of Limerick from 2007 to 2011. In 2009, they participated in an Erasmus program at the University of Calgary, where they focused on History and Politics for a semester. Subsequently, from 2011 to 2012, David pursued a Master's degree in Journalism and Communications at Griffith College Dublin.
