Martin Roddy

Martin Roddy has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering and innovation lead roles. Martin is currently a Principal Software Engineer at G-P/Globalization Partners, where they help lead teams in product growth and enables engineering teams to deliver new product innovations. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company, leading projects for the G-P Recruit SaaS platform and overseeing the company rebrand.

Before joining G-P/Globalization Partners, Martin worked at Pramerica as an Innovation Lead and Tech Lead, where they played a key role in implementing innovative solutions for the Life and Annuity business. Martin also led technical projects in areas such as Payment Processing and Compensation, and was part of a global SAFe Team that introduced SAFe agile practices to the company.

Martin Roddy has a diverse education history. Martin obtained a First Class Honours Master of Arts (MA) degree with a focus on UX Design & Applied Innovation from Atlantic Technological University in 2020. Prior to that, they completed a First Class Hons. Post Grad. Dip (Lvl 9) in UX Design & Applied Innovation from the same university in 2019.

In 2000, Martin earned a 2.1 Graduate Degree in Computing from Ulster University. Before that, they completed an HND in Computing at North West Regional College in Derry, Northern Ireland in 1999.

Additionally, Martin has completed a National Certificate in Electronics & Computing at Carndonagh Community School in Co Donegal, Ireland in 1997. Martin also obtained their Leaving Certificate from Carndonagh Community School in Donegal, Ireland in 1996.
