Connor McKee

Connor McKee has had a varied and successful career in the design industry. In 2013, they began their career as an Applecare Advisor at Apple, where they provided troubleshooting expertise for iOS and macOS devices, identifying problems and assisting customers. In 2014, they became a Freelance Designer at Connor McKee. In 2015, they became a Design Intern at Oh My Ears, where they produced and cultivated the OME brand as lead graphic designer, focused on the creation of client-facing documents and social media. Connor also successfully promoted and facilitated multiple fundraising events, culminating in the annual OME Marathon concert, and acted as photographer during fundraising and concert events for advertising and social media content. In the same year, they also became a Digital Media Lab Manager and Teaching Assistant at Arizona State University. In 2018, they became a Communications Designer at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. Most recently, in 2021, they became a User Experience Manager and Digital Product Designer at GlobalMed Telemedicine.

Connor McKee obtained a BA in Arts, Media + Engineering, with a minor in Sustainability, from Arizona State University in 2016. Connor then completed an MA in Arts, Media + Engineering, with a focus on Human Computer Interaction, Speculative Design, Design Ethics, and User Experience, also from Arizona State University in 2018. In 2017, Connor McKee also completed a Study Abroad program at Arizona State University, focusing on User Research, Interaction Design, and Design Research. Additionally, Connor McKee has obtained certifications from LinkedIn in Effective Listening, Giving and Receiving Feedback, How to Develop your Career Plan, Planning a Career in User Experience, UX Design: 1 Overview, UX Design: 2 Analyzing User Data, and UX Design: 3 Creating Personas.
