David Bank MD MBA has worked in the medical field since 2006. David began their career at Phoenix Children's Hospital, where they served as Physician in Chief of the Phoenix Children's Medical Group. During their time there, they recruited nationally recognized division chiefs, grew the physician faculty from 50 to 300, and opened four subspecialty/Urgent Care Centers. In 2012, they moved to Columbia University Medical Center, where they served as Vice Chair of Clinical Operations for the Department of Pediatrics. David was responsible for breaking down silos and implementing centralized scheduling, common job descriptions for support staff, and standardized expectations for charge entry and revenue cycle. David then moved to Seton Healthcare Family in 2017, where they served as Medical Director of Access and Ambulatory Operations. In 2018, they took on the role of Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs - Ambulatory Services and Network Development at Texas Children's Hospital. During this time, they worked with the Access Leadership Team to implement changes that increased new patient visits and revenue, while decreasing wait times by 50%. In 2020, they joined Victoria Emergency Associates LLC as Pediatric Emergency Medical Director, and in 2022 they took on the role of Chief Medical Officer at GlobalMed Telemedicine.

David Bank MD MBA has an extensive education history. David obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons between 1984 and 1988. David then attended Columbia College, Columbia University, but did not receive a degree. In 2004, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the WP Carey School of Business, with a field of study in Business Administration and Management, General. David also holds a Doctor of Medicine - MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
