Mark Tenerowicz

Associate Medical Director at Global Rescue

Dr. Tenerowicz is responsible for overseeing and leading medical operations at Global Rescue. He has trained as an emergency room physician and has two decades of experience as a practicing physician at hospitals in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Dr. Tenerowicz is currently a Major in the United States Army Reserve Medical Corps and has done three tours of duty in the Middle East. His deployments include service in Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Iraq in 2002, 2004, and 2007, respectively, where he treated both combat and non-combat-related injuries and illnesses and managed medical evacuation procedures and operations. Previously, Dr. Tenerowicz served as a Flight Physician for the University of Massachusetts Life Flight helicopter medical evacuation team. Dr. Tenerowicz is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Trinity College where he was a Presidential Fellow and played hockey. He received his MD from the Brown University School of Medicine
