Matias Carcamo

Matias Carcamo has an extensive work experience in the field of localization quality assurance for video games and educational software. Matias started their career as a Software Developer at Colegio Diocesano Santo Domingo in 2015. In 2016, they joined Bug-Tracker as a Localization Tester, where they successfully delivered more than 5 games for major clients such as Sony and Nintendo. Matias then became a Senior Localization Tester and acted as the Team Lead assistant and Script Developer. Matias'sresponsibilities included setting up test environments and tools for testing major consoles and coordinating large-scale revenue-generating projects. In 2017, they joined GlobalStep as an LQA Team Leader, overseeing multiple clients and ensuring the quality assurance process met the required standards. Matias later transitioned to the role of LQA Project Manager, where they reviewed and ensured the localization quality of more than 15 mobile/VR video game projects and educational software for universities. Matias's expertise includes estimating project budgets, implementing new procedures to increase team performance, and delivering projects in a timely manner.

Matias Carcamo started their education in 2011 at I.E.S Nº 1 Libertas, where they obtained a Diploma of College Studies in Business Administration. Matias'sfield of study focused on Business Administration and Management, General. Matias continued their education at E.F.A. El Campico from 2013 to 2015, where they earned another Diploma of College Studies, this time in Computer Software and Media Applications.

In addition to their formal education, Matias Carcamo has obtained several certifications. In January 2021, they completed the "Beginner's Guide to Data & Data Analytics" by SF Data School and the "Complete Introduction to Google Data Studio 2020 Edition" courses, both offered by Udemy. Matias also completed the "Introduction to Data Studio" course provided by Google Analytics Academy during the same period.
