Manny Estrada

Head, Regulatory Development & Strategy at Globe Telecom

Manny Estrada has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on regulatory development and strategy. Manny has held senior positions at Globe Telecom, where they served as the Head of Regulatory Development & Strategy and as the Sr. Vice President of Technology Strategy & Service Integration. In these roles, they were responsible for developing and implementing regulatory strategies, acquiring spectrum, and shaping the company's technical position papers. Manny also served as the key regulatory contact to international telecommunications organizations such as the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and the GSM Association. Prior to their time at Globe Telecom, Manny held various leadership positions at the National Telecommunications Commission, where they played a crucial role in radio regulations, licensing, equipment standards development, and radio frequency coordination. Manny began their career as an Instructor at the University of Sto. Tomas.

Manny Estrada received a Bachelor of Science in Electronics & Communications Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas in 1982. Manny also completed their high school education at the University of Santo Tomas from 1973 to 1977. In addition, Manny has obtained various certifications, including "Licensed Professional Electronics and Communications Engineer" from the Professional Regulations Commission, Republic of the Philippines in December 2021. Manny has also pursued multiple certifications on LinkedIn, such as "Artificial Intelligence and Business Strategy," "Embracing Unexpected Change," "Be the Manager People Won't Leave," "Mastering Organizational Chaos," and others, obtained in 2022 and 2021.
