Ghada Darwish

Ghada Darwish is an experienced professional currently serving as the Country Manager for Globeleq and a Nominee Director for Africa REN at FMO since July 2021. With a strong background in sustainability and industrial consultancy, Ghada is the Managing Partner at DEM Consulting Co., providing integrated sustainability solutions and advisory services. Active in promoting women's participation in infrastructure, Ghada is a member of the African Union Network for Women in Infrastructure. Ghada also serves as a Senior Consultant for Gruppo Industriale Maccaferri, focusing on solar power projects in Egypt, and as the Managing Director of PIZA Industrial Supplies Co., which specializes in industrial business development. In addition, Ghada has held roles such as Egypt Representative for De Smet Engineers & Contractors and previously as Secretary General for the Benban Solar Energy Developers Association. Ghada's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The American University in Cairo.
