Paulo Carvalho

Paulo Carvalho is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in transmission line consulting and project management within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Transmission Lines Consultant at Globeleq since October 2018, Paulo has a track record of managing significant projects, such as the ±800 kV Transmission Line Xingu-Rio and Xingu-Estreito while working with XPTT and SEPCO1. Previous roles include Project Director at Abengoa overseeing major transmission projects and Corporate Manager of Engineering and Construction at Grupo ENERGISA. With a Civil Engineering degree from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and an MBA in Project Management from Universidade ABB, Paulo Carvalho demonstrates a strong foundation in engineering and strategic project implementation across various high-budget energy projects in Brazil and beyond.
