Jorge Velazquez is an experienced mechanical CAD designer with a diverse background in engineering and design spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Mechanical CAD Designer at Globetrotters Engineering Corporation since February 2019, Jorge also holds the position of Senior CAD Designer at Milhouse Engineering & Construction, Inc. and works as a Mechanical Designer at Cosentini Associates. Prior roles include Mechanical Designer at AbbVie, drafter at Black and Veatch, HVAC Designer at AMS Mechanical Systems, and Mechanical HVAC Designer at Sargent and Lundy. Jorge’s career commenced at Globetrotters Engineering Corporation in various capacities from 1996 to 2010 and includes earlier experience as an electrical drafter at Environmental Systems Design, Inc. and McGuire Engineers, Inc. Jorge holds an Associate of Science degree in Architecture from Olive Harvey Community College and completed secondary education in the same field at Bowen High School.
