Aki Ushida

Aki Ushida is a seasoned professional in faculty development and instructional design, currently serving as a Manager at GLOBIS Corporation since June 2015. With a strong focus on discussion-based learning in business education, Aki specializes in training lecturers to enhance classroom engagement and critical thinking. Previous experience includes roles as a freelance consultant, researcher at the Japanese Embassy in Costa Rica, and various positions in GLOBIS University, where Aki developed MBA courses and training programs. Aki's early career at Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. involved significant contributions to tourism development, greatly increasing visitor numbers. Aki holds an MA in Rural Development from the University of East Anglia, an MBA from Kobe University, and a BA in Psychology from Waseda University.
