Vikas Gupta

Vikas Gupta is an experienced advisor and entrepreneur who has held various positions in India's education industry. Vikas is currently an advisor at Globus Eight, and was previously the Managing Director at Wiley India. Vikas has also co-founded two companies, Dreamtech Software and Pustak Mahal.

Vikas Gupta has over 20 years of experience in the education industry. Vikas started their career as a co-promoter at Pustak Mahal, a publishing company, where they worked for nine years. In 1998, they co-founded Dreamtech Software, a software development company. Vikas ran the company as CEO for three years before selling their equity to John Wiley and Sons (US).

In 1999, Vikas Gupta established a joint venture with John Wiley and Sons and their publishing company Dreamtech Press Pvt. Ltd. in India. Vikas expanded Wiley’s presence in India, making it one of the most profitable publishing houses in the country. Vikas also conceptualised WileyNXT, a technology-enabled Personalization model, and ensured outcomes of being a future-ready talent. In 2021, they sold their equity back to John Wiley and Sons (US) and became an entrepreneur in residence.

Vikas Gupta has completed a PGPMAX from the Indian School of Business, a PG Diploma in Printing and Publishing Studies from the London College of Printing, and a B.E. in Electronics from the Savitribai Phule Pune University.
