Director Of Software Architecture at Globus Medical

Daniel Gehriger has extensive work experience in software architecture and engineering. Daniel currently holds the position of Director of Software Architecture at Globus Medical, a role they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Group Manager of Software & Software Architect at the same company from April 2020 to September 2021. Before joining Globus Medical, Daniel worked as a Group Manager of Software from July 2019 to April 2020. Daniel first joined Globus Medical in June 2017 as a Senior Software and System Architect, a position they held until July 2019.

Before their tenure at Globus Medical, Daniel owned their own engineering company, Gehriger Engineering, since August 1998. In addition, they have worked as a Software Consultant at various companies, including Pristem, Intuitive Therapeutics SA, Sphere Fluidics Limited, KB Medical, StereoTools SARL, HMT microelectronic AG, Biocartis, and Sensimed. Notably, at Sensimed, Daniel served as the Head of Software Development from September 2007 to April 2010.

Daniel Gehriger obtained their MSc in Micro-Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 1994 and 1997. During the academic year 1995-1996, they pursued an Imperial College International Diploma in Electronics Engineering at Imperial College London. Prior to that, they completed their Vordiplom in Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zürich in 1993-1994.
