Michelle Merkelt

Michelle Merkelt has a diverse work experience in finance roles. Michelle started their career as a Cost Accountant at Teva Pharmaceuticals in 1997, where they reconciled inventory, managed receipts, and analyzed variances. Michelle then moved on to become an Accounting Supervisor/Manager, responsible for recruiting, training, and evaluating staff in the Accounts Payable department. As their responsibilities grew, they took on the role of Associate Director in Finance at Teva Pharmaceuticals, overseeing Cost Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Treasury. In 2015, they became the Director of Finance (Cost Accounting), where they focused on providing accurate and timely COGS and inventory information to Operations and Commercial teams. Michelle eventually rose to the position of Senior Director Cluster Controller Finance for Operations at Teva Pharmaceuticals. In 2018, they joined Globus Medical as the Senior Director, Operations Finance Controller.

Michelle Merkelt completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at Delaware Valley University in 1997.
