Carly Sorenson is the current Global Head of Content at Glorify. Before this, they were the Executive Director, Global Interactive Content at iFIT Health and Fitness from September 2018 to March 2022. In this role, Carly led the global content department in development and execution of content across multiple brands and 8 languages, aligning with brand missions and based on analytics, consumer behavior, and industry trends. Carly also established production strategies: greenlight, pitch, production, post-production, delivery and launch process, ensuring C-suite buy-in at critical milestones and ensuring delivery on time and under budget. Carly oversaw multiple video production teams, both staff and freelance, on all continents; this included management of 20+ simultaneous productions and hundreds of production personnel.
In their role at iFIT, Carly also developed, presented and managed the annual content budget; identified KPIs, delivered quarterly reports, and aligned with finance to track spending. Carly worked closely with legal to establish vendor, talent contracts; negotiated and executed them, managed the contract database, and communicated legal and financial protocol changes to wider production teams. Carly also optimized content output and distribution by aligning productions across brands and improving internal communication. Carly developed and managed the content release calendar based on analytics, member behavior, and seasonality. Lastly, Carly improved workflows and cross-functional communication, ensuring cohesive content with strong promotional, marketing and social components.
After their time at iFIT, Carly moved on to their current role as Global Head of Content at Glorify. In this role, Carly oversees production compliance with all corporate policies, including but not limited to legal, finance, anti-corruption and bribery acts, Covid-19 protocols, and risk assessment. Carly also works to reduce production inefficiencies by outsourcing when appropriate. Lastly, Carly optimizes staff performance by developing clear individual career paths for growth, allowing autonomy and ownership of projects while acting as source for production problem-solving.
Carly Sorenson received a BA in Communications from Northeastern University, with a focus in Television / Media Production and Graphic Design. Carly is also certified by the American Red Cross in CPR.
