Dariusz Pobożniak

Dariusz Pobożniak is a software engineer who currently works at GlossGenius and is responsible for building intuitive web experiences. Dariusz collaborates with product managers, product designers, and other engineers to create smooth and intuitive booking processes for over tens of thousands of service professionals. Prior to their current role, they worked as a senior web developer at DAZN Group from 2019 to 2020. Before that, they had extensive experience as a senior frontend developer at Perform Media from 2015 to 2019, where they were actively involved in SCRUM teams and contributed to the development and self-improvement of frontend development practices. Dariusz also worked as a UI developer at eZ Systems in 2015, where they developed reusable UI components and participated in collaboration with product owners, developers, and test engineers. Earlier in their career, they served as a senior frontend developer and an experienced frontend developer at Perform Media from 2012 to 2015, where they participated in website builds, implemented CSS workflow improvements, and introduced BEM naming conventions. Dariusz started their career as a front-end developer at eSKY.pl S.A. in 2010, where they created and developed the eSKY.pl website. Dariusz began their professional journey as a web developer at youngmedia.pl in 2007, gaining valuable experience in coding various webpages for different clients.

Dariusz Pobożniak earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from the Katowice Institute of Information Technologies, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Leona Kruczkowskiego w Tychach from 2002 to 2005, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Additionally, they obtained a certification of completion in Agile Principles from Perform Media in July 2014.
