Ali Mohtat

Ali Mohtat, Ph.D., P.E., currently serves as an Ocean Engineer at Glosten since August 2023. Previously, Ali worked at Crowley as a Senior Naval Architect focusing on Advanced Analysis from January 2022 to August 2023, and served as the Principal Ocean Engineer at Atargis Energy Corporation from February 2020 to January 2022. Ali's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering with a focus on Ocean and Coastal Engineering from Oregon State University, obtained in 2019, complemented by a Master of Science in Civil Engineering specializing in Marine Structures from K. N. Toosi University of Technology in 2011, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Daneshgah-e-Semnan in 2008. Ali's experience spans both practical engineering roles and academic research, including time as a Postdoctoral Scholar and Research Assistant at Oregon State University.
