Lauren MacKinnon

Lauren MacKinnon has extensive work experience in various roles related to human resources, operations, and business development. Lauren started their career as a Human Resources Generalist at SLR Consulting and worked there from 2003 to 2013. In 2013, they joined F&M Management Ltd. as a Senior Associate for a short period before starting their own company called LVS Consulting Inc. as a Human Resources Consultant. Lauren provided HR services to small to medium-sized companies across industries. In 2015, Lauren joined Glotman Simpson Consulting Engineers as the Director of HR + Operations and later became the Chief Operating Officer. In both roles, they focused on leadership, people and culture, operations, communications, marketing, and business development. Throughout their career, Lauren has demonstrated effectiveness in implementing strategies and initiatives that improve operational efficiency and benefit the organizations they work for.

Lauren MacKinnon attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2009, where they completed a Human Resources Certificate Program. In 2021, they enrolled in the Erickson Coaching International Diploma Program, specializing in The Art and Science of Coaching. Additionally, they obtained a certification as an Erickson Solution Focused Coach from Erickson Coaching International. Lauren MacKinnon also holds a Charted Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) certification from the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations.
