Calum Newman is an experienced Lead Engineer in Electronic Hardware at GE Aerospace, involved in designing electronic control units for aircraft power distribution systems since September 2014. Core responsibilities include electronic schematic capture using Mentor Graphics DX Designer and Design Architect. Prior to this, Calum completed an Engineering Degree Apprenticeship, which provided a wide-ranging understanding of engineering solutions. In addition to the current role, Calum serves as a part-time lecturer in Electronic and Computer Engineering at Gloucestershire College, focusing on Digital Design. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and a Foundation Degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of the West of England.
