Rachel Jones

Rachel (Rae) Jones is a seasoned social work professional with extensive experience in various roles within the social care and health sectors. Currently serving as Social Work Lead for both Cheltenham Locality and Gloucestershire Acute Hospitals and Mental Health Units at Gloucestershire County Council since March 2020, Rachel also operates a personal art business, Rae Jones art, since September 2020. Previously, Rachel held the position of Advanced Social Work Practitioner (ASWP) at Worcestershire County Council from September 2011 to March 2020, focusing on community mental health and learning disability services. Rachel's early career includes roles as a Nursing Assistant and Student Nurse within the NHS, providing a broad foundation in health care. Educational qualifications include a BA Hons in Social Work from the University of Worcester, a post-qualifying qualification in vulnerable adults from Bournemouth University, and completion of the Aspiring Managers programme from Worcestershire County Council.
