Alex Jackson is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in fitness coaching and logistics. Currently serving as a boxing fitness coach at Gloveworx since May 2021, Alex previously worked as a forklift operator at Old Dominion Freight Line from October 2017 to May 2021. Alex also demonstrated entrepreneurial skills while managing a mobile detailing business from February 2017 to June 2018. Earlier experiences include working as a family case manager at The Centers, Inc. and an administrative assistant at Kids Central, Inc. A strong foundation in logistics was gained during employment at Office Depot and PGA TOUR, where Alex focused on customer service and inventory management. Academically, Alex holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from Temple University, attained in 2013.

Gloveworx
Gloveworx is a state-of-the-art boxing studio and athletic performance facility founded by Nick Henry and Leyon Azuibike in 2015. Inspired by his time as a US Nationals heavyweight competitor and 2-time captain of the Temple University football team, Leyon developed the Gloveworx program as a way to teach boxing and athletic performance skills for a powerful, stress-relieving workout. The Gloveworx experience combines boxing training with strength and conditioning in an enthusiastic team environment. From high-energy group training to personalized one-on-one sessions, we have boxing workouts for everyone. Throughout all of our sessions, there are never more than five people working with one coach, ensuring that all of our contenders receive the personal attention they deserve. Whatever your goals may be, you’ll train like an athlete—gaining formidable strength, a clear mind, and the ability to box like a pro.
