Ankit Padliya

Ankit Padliya is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations, strategy, and technology within the retail and e-commerce sectors. Currently serving as an Investor at Purple Style Labs since September 2019, Ankit previously held key positions at Grab, including Head of Groceries Dark Stores, where a 30% month-on-month growth in the darkstore business in Indonesia was achieved, and Head of Wholesale E-commerce, focusing on enhancing traditional retail operations. As a co-founder of a technology and analytics startup from October 2013 to February 2017, Ankit developed innovative products for tier-1 companies in the retail and banking sectors. Earlier experiences include roles at Essex Lake Group, where operational efficiency projects were driven, and a summer internship at ICICI Securities, which involved financial analysis and strategic recommendations. Ankit holds a dual degree in B.Tech and M.Tech in Material Sciences and Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
