Vanessa Acosta

Vanessa Acosta has worked in the beauty industry since 2017. Vanessa began their career as a Beauty Advisor at JCPenney, where they analyzed clients' skin and educated them about skincare and color theory. Vanessa opened over 400 credit accounts, becoming the top-performing credit earner in the respective district. In 2019, they joined Ulta Beauty as a Prestige Beauty Advisor, where they maintained in-depth knowledge of the company's brand to serve customers' best interests and drive sales. Vanessa consistently delivered above-store average dollar sales (ADS) and upheld stores' zoning & client service strategies. In 2021, Vanessa joined Glow Recipe as a Sales and Education Specialist, where they managed brand education initiatives, developed strong relationships with management, and fostered brand awareness. On average, 7 out of 10 customers were converted to Glow Recipe products from core competitor brands.

Vanessa Acosta began their educational journey in 2016 at Glendale Community College, where they earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Vanessa then attended Pasadena City College, where they earned another Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General in 2020. Currently, Vanessa is enrolled at California State University, Los Angeles, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
