Matthew Desantos

Matthew DeSantos is an experienced leader in the financial services industry, currently serving as President of GLP Financial Group since September 2017, where responsibilities include leading strategy, driving business growth, and team building within an independent national firm focusing on K-12 public school retirement plans. Prior to GLP, Matthew held the position of President and Senior Vice President of Distribution at National Life Group from September 2005 to September 2017, where Matthew managed a team for life and annuity sales and was responsible for sales and distribution strategies. Matthew's earlier experience includes roles as Product and Marketing Officer at Nationwide Financial Network and Advanced Sales Officer at Provident Mutual. Academically, Matthew earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stonehill College.
