Branly Orban

Branly Orban is a quality and analytical science leader with over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, specializing in the R&D and commercialization of therapeutic modalities, including cell and gene products. Branly has held multiple leadership roles, most recently serving as the Director of US Cell Therapy Quality Operations at Galapagos, overseeing quality management across the Cell Therapy Network. Branly's expertise encompasses quality systems, analytical development, and regulatory compliance, demonstrated through a distinguished career with companies such as Bristol Myers Squibb and Schering-Plough Research Institute. They earned a PhD in Pharmacology and Physiology from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, along with a Master’s in Chemistry and a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry.
