Cristy Dougherty

Cristy Dougherty is currently the Global Head of Product Quality and Analytical Sciences at Galapagos, where they oversee the end-to-end product quality strategy for new products across various modalities. Previously, Cristy held roles including Vice President of Technical Operations at a venture-funded startup and Senior Director for Cell & Gene Therapies and Vaccines at Janssen Inc. They have extensive experience in biopharmaceutical product development, having worked at leading companies such as Merck, GSK, and Sanofi Pasteur. Cristy earned a PhD in Biochemistry from Lehigh University and has contributed to numerous regulatory submissions throughout their career.
