Ilse Tuinhof

Ilse Tuinhof has extensive work experience in the field of clinical operations and management. Ilse currently holds the position of Clinical Operations Program Lead Hematology/Oncology at Galapagos since 2024. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Clinical Operations at LAVA Therapeutics N.V. from August 2021 to January 2024, and as a Senior Clinical Trial Manager from August 2020 to August 2021.

Before joining LAVA Therapeutics N.V., they worked at uniQure as a Senior Clinical Trial Manager from December 2014 to August 2020. Ilse also gained experience as a Clinical Team Lead at Julius Clinical from January 2013 to December 2014.

Earlier in their career, Ilse held positions at Genzyme Europe BV as a Clinical Project Manager from November 2010 to December 2012 and as a Clinical Research Associate from April 2008 to November 2010. Ilse started their professional journey at Kendle International, where they worked as a Project management associate Phase I from January 2007 to April 2008 and as a Quality Control Officer from February 2005 to December 2006.

Prior to entering the clinical operations field, Ilse worked as a Physiotherapist at Vivium Zorggroep Naarderheem from April 2004 to February 2005.

Ilse Tuinhof studied at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, from 2000 to 2004, where they earned their B Health degree in Physiotherapy.
