Sandrine Trinh has extensive work experience in procurement and category management in the pharmaceutical industry. Sandrine has held various roles at Galapagos, starting from Category Buyer for Clinical Trials PhI/II/III (Procurement) in 2017, to their current position as Director of Procurement Research, PCD, Biomarkers, and R&D Innovations. Prior to their time at Galapagos, they worked as the Capex Sourcing Group Manager at GSK Vaccines and as the Lead Buyer in Research Outsourcing at L'Oréal. Sandrine also gained experience as a Scientific & Clinical Buyer at Sanofi Pasteur, where they were involved in RFI and RFP processes and negotiation. Additionally, they worked as a Junior Consultant at Laboratoires URGO, focusing on outsourcing and vendor reduction. Sandrine Trinh also served as the President of CEPhI.
Sandrine Trinh obtained a Master's degree in Global Sourcing and Supply Chain from HEC Paris in 2011. Prior to that, they completed their education at Faculté de Pharmacie de Strasbourg, where they earned a degree in Pharmacien. Their studies there focused on European right and pharmaceutical regulations, spanning from 2004 to 2011.
