Stavros Milatos

Stavros Milatos is a highly experienced clinical development professional currently serving as a Clinical Development Associate Director at Galapagos since April 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Clinical Trial Leader at Novartis from March 2016 to April 2023, where accountability for Phase I/Ib multicenter international clinical trials in immuno-oncology and CAR-T therapies was established. Previously, Stavros worked as a Clinical Project Manager at the Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research (Sakk) and as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Oncology at CHUV. Early career experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at BSRC Alexander Fleming in Greece. Educational qualifications encompass a Ph.D. in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Athens Medical School, a CAS in Pharmaceutical Medicine from the University of Basel, and a CAS in Management of Biotech, Medtech & Pharma Ventures from EPFL-UNIL, along with a BS in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Democritus University of Thrace.
