David Barrero

David Barrero has extensive work experience in the logistics and courier industry. David started their career in 2002 at ASM as an Executive Account Manager, where they worked until 2005. David then joined Tourline Express SLU, initially as a Delegate and later as a Coordinator of Operational Centers, responsible for managing and designing distribution routes for various locations. In 2015, David became a Manager at Correos Express Paquetería Urgente, where they handled the provincial account's profitability analysis, cost control, sales strategy planning, and identifying new business opportunities. In 2017, they joined MRW as an Operations Technician for their network. David then joined Correos Express in 2018 as the Barcelona Manager, later progressing to become the Director of the Mediterranean Zone, Director of Operations, and then the General Director. Currently, David Barrero is the Managing Director at GLS Portugal, a position they have held since May 2023.

David Barrero completed their Máster in Gestión logística, de materiales y de la cadena de suministro from Universidad Camilo José Cela in 2017. In addition, they obtained a Master en Inteligencia Emocional from European Quality Formación and became an Experto en Coaching from Eleva Escuela de Coaching in 2019 and 2017 respectively.
