Valerie Achieng Odera has worked in various roles since 2010. Valerie began their career as an Administrative Assistant at Put Sarajevo General Engineering Ltd before moving on to Executive Assistant at CAS Consultants Ltd in 2013. In 2019, they joined Elephant Healthcare as a Customer Success Coordinator and Change Manager. In their role as Change Manager, they supported training and communication as part of change management for 12 counties in Kenya, designed and delivered specialized training resources to increase ROI by 20%, and evaluated resistance in adopting the change at the user, process and technology level. Valerie also conducted post-launch trainings which led to a 0.42% monthly churn rate. Additionally, they evaluated the impact of the change and was part of a team that conducted Impact Evaluation at Tawa Level Four Hospital where revenue had increased by 60% from use of the system. In 2022, Valerie Achieng Odera joined Glue Up as a Customer Success Training Manager (EMEA).

Valerie Achieng Odera holds a Degree in Health Promotion and Sports Science from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, as well as a Diploma in Public Health Education and Promotion from Kenya Medical Training College. Valerie has also obtained certifications in IPC (Infection Prevention and Control) for Covid 19 from the World Health Organization in April 2020, Customer Success Management Fundamentals from LinkedIn, and Instructional Design Essentials: Models of ID from LinkedIn.
