Kevin Huang has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kevin is currently the CEO and Co-founder of GlüxKind since June 2020. In 2022, they participated in the Montreal cohort of Next AI. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Development Lead and Solution Architect at Convergence Concepts Inc. Kevin was also the Founder and CTO of Tyche Labs from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they were involved in data analytics projects at Vancouver Coastal Health and served as a Behavioral Economics Consultant at the Canadian Men's Health Foundation. Kevin has also worked as an iOS Developer and Pediatric Rheumatology Project Assistant at BC Children's Hospital. In addition, they have experience as a First Aid Instructor at LIT First Aid & Lifeguard Training and served as VP Membership at the Vancouver Entrepreneurs Toastmasters Club. Before all these roles, Kevin started their career as a Lifesaving Instructor, Water Safety Instructor, and Lifeguard at The University of British Columbia.
Kevin Huang completed their Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience and Behaviour at The University of British Columbia from 2008 to 2013. Kevin then pursued a Master's Degree in eHealth (Health Informatics) at McMaster University from 2015 to 2017. In 2020, they participated in the Sandbox Innovation Fund (Start-up Incubator) program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, Kevin obtained certifications as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019.

Our mission is to enable all parents and their babies to explore and navigate the world safely and comfortably. Our AI powered smart stroller Ella has been recognized as one of the most innovative products in the world and received the CES Innovation Award Honoree title. The name GlüxKind is inspired by the German word Glückskind. “Glück” means lucky and “Kind” translates to child. At GlüxKind, we believe great technology should work seamlessly and augment our lives. GlüxKind is built around the idea that every parent should be able to have a great child rearing experience, that the tools we use should aid us in our care of our little bundles of joy. To that end, we are reimagining one of the most important devices in every parent’s life: the baby stroller.
